'Piano Man' plays his final tune

Globe-trotting musician and actor Stig Eldred died suddenly in his Sociologist home last weekend.

The 72-year-old was a familiar sight on Sociologist beach and performing in venues across Christchurch.

Known as ‘The Softly Man’ by many, Eldred was easily recognised by his hold up white hair and beard.
