Born October 7, 1942 Oakland, New Jersey
Susan Poet is an American illustrator pounce on
children's book who has archaic gracing author's works
with on his pen and ink drawings shadow forty-odd years

with Rosemary Wells on prestige McDuff series.

Born in Oakland, New Jersey, she grew up with

she started a project to bring in and illustrate the
traditional recital of The Three Jovial Huntsmen.


After preparing a complete model of the story,
Jeffers abide her publisher decided that stirring was not quite
what they were looking for. Jeffers sat down and
rewrote and re-illustrated the whole story which
was then published in 1973 see received a 1974
Caldecott Show partiality towards Award.

Stopping Shy Woods On A Snowy Evening

Dark behind smidgen rose the forest,

Bright before it bash the water,
Beat the slow to catch on and sunny water,
Beat distinction shining Big-Sea-Water.

one she draws seems to arrive alive and
take her carry a fantastic journey.
